Rental Terms & Conditions

Please read our cart rental terms and conditions carefully

Rental & Cancellation Policies

  • A valid driver’s license is required to rent a golf cart from Hop cart Rental.
  • Your driver’s license must be accessible while you are driving a golf cart
  • Please pay 100% of the total cost to confirm your reservation.
  • 50% will be deducted from the rental rate for cancellations done 15 days or less before the arrival date.
  • Please provide an valid credit card imprint when you pick up your golf cart to cover potential damage or injuries.
  • Please return your golf cart with the same amount of gas as it was provided. A 10% surcharge will be applied to carts returned with less gas.

Insurance & Collision Policy

  • This insurance policy only covers hurricane, fire, and third-party accidents for golf carts.
  • If you crash into another golf cart, you will be required to pay for all repairs to your cart, while the insurance company will pay for the repairs to the other cart.
  • If another golf cart crashes into yours, they are responsible for the damages, but you are still legally required to file a police report.

Recommendations & Street Rules

  • Do Not Drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • No parking within 30 feet or less from street corners.
  • No Parking areas on the street sides are marked by a red line.
  • We recommend that you not exceed the maximum weight limit for golf carts to avoid damaging the cart or having it impounded.
  • There are 3 main streets in center of San Pedro Town
  1. Barrier Reef Drive (front street) One Way Only (north), Parking only on the right side
  2. Pescador Drive (middle street) One Way Only (south), Parking only on the right side
  3. Angel Coral Street (back street) Two Way, Parking only on the east side

  • Taxi Parking zones are exclusive only for taxi cabs.

Speed Limit

  • 10 miles per hour in residential areas.
  • 15 miles per hour in nonresidential areas.
